Bucket List - Dima Gutin
Dima Gutin grew up in metro Detroit after having immigrated from St. Petersburg, Russia at a young age. After high school, he went to Ann Arbor to study business at the University of Michigan (Go Blue!), and upon graduation decided to stay local to help be a small part of the recent Detroit renaissance and resurgence of the city. Work wise, he has spent his career in the automotive industry working primarily in corporate finance. He is married to his wonderful Spartan wife, Tracy, and they are now proud parents of a happy toddler named Eli. The three of them live in Madison Heights with their pupper, Boo Radley, and cat, Pickles. Dima wanted to get back to his Jewish roots (his days as a JCC day-camp counselor are long past!), and he is excited to join the Bucket List to help The Well’s non-traditional approaches to Judaic culture. In his spare time, Dima and Tracy are big foodies and world travelers looking for the next grand adventure. Above all else, they share a healthy competitive household rivalry in the fall and spring during collegiate football and basketball seasons.
