Come Play Detroit and The Well present: A Bananagrams Holiday Tournament
This 2-day competition brings Together our favorite things:
word games, Hanukkah cheer, and friendly competitioN
Here’s how it works:
The tournament will be played over the course of 2 days: Thursday, December 17th at 7PM and Friday, December 18th at 5:30PM, in three rounds, from one Master Zoom room.
First, you’ll sign up below and indicate whether you already have a team, or if you’d like us to match you with a team. On Thursday, you’ll arrive in the Zoom room and be put into breakout rooms by team.
Your team will compete against each other in your own breakout rooms in a round of Well-A-Grams (with special Tournament House Rules announced by our hosts).
The winner of that round will go on to represent the team in the rest of the tournament. The next segment will begin with all Round 1 Winners, and you’ll compete to make it to the Top 4.
On Friday night, the Top 4 players and their respective teams will return to the Master Zoom room to battle it out for the coveted title of Bananagrams Holiday Champion!
Of course, we’ll be streaming this part of the competition to Facebook Live, so that the community can support their favorite team! The winning team will receive a prize, and their representative player will receive their own prize as well.
*If you signed up to receive The Well’s Hanukkah Box, you’ll have limited edition Well-A-Grams to play with! If you aren’t receiving a box, you’re still welcome to participate in the tournament with your own set of Bananagrams. Limited Edition Well-A-Grams will not provide any advantage during gameplay.
