Join The Well, in partnership with NEXTGen Detroit, JCRC, Repair The World, AJC ACCESS, Detroit City Moishe House and Royal Oak Moishe House for a learning experience open to the entire community as we explore the Jewish tradition's view of refugees.
Along with coffee and snacks, we'll have the opportunity to study a wide range of texts (both ancient and contemporary, Jewish and secular), we'll hear a local resettled Syrian refugee's testimony, and together we'll conclude the evening by lighting Chanukah candles.
Thanks to the generosity of donors, there is no cost to attend. Please consider bringing a small, unwrapped gift to be donated to a local shelter to help brighten a child's holiday season.
