In partnership with Zach Berg of Mongers’ Provisions, The Schvitz Health Club, and Detroit City Moishe House, we are excited to present Swiss + Schvitz: A Shavuot Experience for young adults (ages 21-40).

The Jewish holiday of Shavuot celebrates the anniversary of receiving the Torah. To celebrate this special holiday, we’ll be enjoying copious amounts of dairy (a Jewish tradition dating back thousands of years). Seems like a great excuse to spend some quality time with fellow Detroiters in a historic Detroit bath house*, while sampling various cheeses and immersing yourself in this major Jewish holiday!

Due to the generosity of donors, tickets are available for $25, and include full access to The Schvitz (sauna, steamroom, and cold pool), as well as cheese tasting and Jewish learning!

WHAT TO EXPECT:
-Young adult crowd
-Doors open at 7:45pm, event starts promptly at 8:00pm
-BYOB (Beer and wine only)
-Access to steam room, sauna, and cold pool
-Bring your own flip flops and robe; towels are provided
-This is an all-gender event, so swimwear is mandatory!

*If saunas, steamrooms, and cold pools aren't your thing - no sweat! There will be board games, music, and nosh available after the cheese tasting and learning!
