Smoked and Cured: A Fishy Evening with Matt Prentice

We're teaming up with chef and restaurateur Matt Prentice (formerly of Deli Unique, Morels, Shiraz, and Milk & Honey Catering fame) for an exclusive cooking demo, tasting, and reception for everything bagels and lox!

30 young adults will gather in the kitchen at Three Cats Cafe in Clawson, where Chef Prentice will lead us in an interactive demonstration, teaching us how to bone, brine, and cure fish in the process of making lox! We'll then make our own bagels and boursin cheese and learn how to slice our lox and present it all like the pros!

Following the demonstration, we'll move over to Leon & Lulu next door for a cocktail reception and tasting with all the smoked and cured fish varieties you can imagine, complete with mini everything bagels and challah crostini.

This is bagels and lox like you've never seen it before, and you don't want to miss it!

Due to the generosity of donors, subsidized tickets are available for $36 - this includes the interactive demo, tasting reception, one complimentary glass of wine and frozen cocktail.
