In 2017, we welcomed an incredible group (along with 18 partner organizations!) to the Belle Isle Boat House for our third annual installation of Rosh Hashanah on the River. The highlight by far was a drone taking the shortcomings attendees wrote down on hydro-degradable paper out over the water and releasing them! Check out the Detroit Jewish News's video recap of the event!

In 2016 we welcomed well over 1,000 guests to our second annual Rosh Hashanah On The River gathering, held at Chene Park Amphitheatre in the city. Attendees enjoyed live music, interactive art, activities for kids, snacks and more! The highlight of the event was when all assembled played the shofar blasts on kazoos, participated in a breathing meditation facilitated by Kids Kicking Cancer, and tossed away their perceived shortcomings (in the form of breadcrumbs) into the Detroit River!
