We’re excited to announce a reimagined version of an old favorite - The Well’s Small Groups are officially launching with a pilot cycle beginning Wednesday, August 16!
If you're looking to meet new people, deepen relationships, and grow and learn together in community, this is the place for you!

Here's how it works:

  • August 16-23: Applications are open to join a Jewish Learning Small Group

  • August 24-25: The Well staff will inventory all applications and weave together small groups based on common interests and life stages, then participants will be notified of their group placement

  • September 2023 - January 2024: Small Groups meet once per month (for a total of 5 meetings), where the content of each meeting is shaped and led by the members of the group, with guidance and support from Rabbi Jeff and The Well Team. We hope that participants will committ to attending at least 3 out of 5 gatherings.

For this pilot cycle, we’re launching Small Groups with only Jewish Learning Groups - but don’t think there aren’t still a world of possibilities!
In the future, each Small Groups cycle will offer a combination of different types of groups to apply and join. Imagine, a group for board game enthusiasts, a group for new parents, a group for avid home chefs - the possibilities are endless!

The important thing is that participants are intentionally brought together over their common life stages and interests to share in a slice of Jewish young adult life together, and though these cycles are only 5 months long, we hope you'll form friendships that will extend far beyond!

As the content of each group is shaped by its participants, no two groups will be the same. Your group may choose to explore various contemporary issues through a Jewish lens with a different guest educator each month, or you may choose to form a Jewish book club, or something else entirely. The adventure is yours to choose!
